After three years of marriage to Princess Beatrice, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is taking a stroll down memory lane. To commemorate the couple’s third wedding anniversary on July 17, 2023, Mozzi posted never-before-seen photos from their special day in July 2020 via Instagram. In the first snap, Beatrice is looking off to the side while sitting in a horse-drawn carriage at Royal Ascot in June 2023, and she’s wearing a white fascinator, diamond earrings, and a white lace dress with a subtle pop of color. The second and third images in the carousel show new photos from their nuptials. One is a snapshot of their wedding flowers, which seemingly decorated their venue at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

The other never-before-seen photo exhibits a close-up of Beatrice’s hand, showcasing her diamond wedding band, while holding her bouquet. A small section of her beaded taffeta wedding dress by Norman Hartnell also makes an appearance. For her big day, the bride borrowed a gown from her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. According to People, the late queen first wore the dress in 1961 and for at least three additional occasions in the 1960s. The former monarch also gave her granddaughter a tiara to complete her outfit: the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, which Elizabeth wore for her own nuptials to Prince Philip in 1947.

In addition to the new wedding photos, Mozzi shared a touching tribute to his wife in the caption. “Happy wedding anniversary to the most beautiful wife in the world,” he gushed. “I am so grateful for every moment we have shared, every challenge we have overcome, and every dream we have pursued together. I love you more than words can say, and I can't wait to celebrate many more anniversaries with you. Xx.”

Sarah Ferguson, Beatrice’s mother, also took to social media to honor the couple’s milestone. “Happy anniversary to my magical daughter and wonderful son-in-law,” she wrote. “You are the most amazing parents to my beautiful grandchildren. Your love knows no bounds. As your mother, Beatrice, it warms my heart and gives me peace knowing you got your fairytale.” Fergie also uploaded a throwback photo from the duo’s nuptials, which was captured by Benjamin Wheeler. The portrait exhibits the couple standing side by side, with Mozzi smiling and looking at his wife. Both of them are wearing their wedding attire.

Although Beatrice and Mozzi first scheduled their wedding for May 2020, the coronavirus pandemic interfered with their plans. The couple ended up tying the knot two months later in an intimate ceremony with a small number of guests. Of course, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were in attendance. “The queen was the guest of honor, and it was very important that she was there,” a source previously told People. Mozzi’s son, Wolfie—who is now Beatrice’s stepson—was the best man and page boy. After their wedding, the couple welcomed daughter Sienna Elizabeth in September 2021.
